When it comes to business, the drive to solve a problem society faces, to care about something other than profit, to create a new space to occupy are all fueled by purpose. When a brand sells an experience or an idea instead of just a product, that rallies their customers to care about the cause, to advocate for the brand and to go above and beyond what is expected of them. People have increasingly started turning towards companies that care about societal problems to give their patronage to.
